22 Nov 2017, Mr. Tuomo Paukkula, General Manager of RTG Product Line, Konecranes Port Solutions, Mr. Tero Vallas, Managing Director and Mr. Mike Zhu, Deputy Managing Director of Konecranes Noell Crane Systems (China) Company Ltd. visited Ningbo Zhoushan Port Company and had a meeting with Mr. Xiang Jiangang, Vice President of Ningbo Port, Mr. Ren Haidong, Technical Minister and Mr. Xu Chen, General Manager of Ningbo Meishan Island International Container Terminal.

During the meeting, Mr. Xiang gave a comprehensive summary of the nearly twenty years of cooperation between the two organizations, and also gave a brief introduction to the strategic development according to the Belt & Road Initiative. Meanwhile, he also expressed the expectation that the cooperation would improve in the future. Mr. Tero Vallas presented the development strategy of the Konecranes Noell products after the acquisition, and Mr. Tuomo Paukkula introduced the world-leading Konecranes automation technology and automated RTG in detail to the management of the Ningbo port. Finally, all the visitors were taken by Minister Ren to visit the showroom of Ningbo port’s development.

On 23rd of November, accompanied with Xu Chen, the Konecranes Noell delegation visited Meishan island Terminal and the remote operation room of the yard cranes.
