Hiab, part of Cargotec, has received orders for over 30 HIAB loader cranes from UK based customers Lawrence Vehicles Daf and MV Commercial Limited. The value of the orders exceeds EUR 2 million and they have been booked into Cargotec’s third quarter order intake.

The ordered loader cranes represent HIAB medium range cranes as well as the heavy range cranes. “We renewed the medium range cranes last year and the feedback from customers has been very positive”, says Rogier Van Der Linde, Director Sales & Service UK&Ireland, Hiab. The renewed mid-range selection offers a variety of control systems that serve end-users’ everyday work in the best possible way by giving the operators the freedom to choose a system that answers to their needs.

HIAB heavy range loader cranes offer capacities over 30 tonne metres, along with flexibility and outstanding performance.

“For MV Commercial Ltd, Hiab represents world leading technical excellence and reliability that comes with the products and their control systems. The control systems are highly user friendly and ensure efficient work in a safe manner, which also increases customer productivity. The comprehensive and unrivalled service support structure across the UK also offers excellent response when needed and minimizes any downtime”, says Steven Cairns, Managing Director, MV Commercial.

The deliveries of the equipment will be completed for both customers by the end of 2018.
