Perkins continues to establish itself among the leading players in India’s Electric Power (EP) sector thanks to its consistent growth, increased presence and commitment to its customers in this important market.
In addition to building a state-of-the-art facility in Aurangabad, Perkins has focused on growing brand awareness, taking to the road to meet with customers, consultants and contractors around India, to promote the features and benefits of the 4000 Series engine range.
The EP seminar in Lucknow, was another opportunity for the team to present the benefits of Perkins engines and discuss ongoing service support. More than 80 people attended the event including consultants, contractors, customers, members of the Builder Association and representatives from the hospitality industry.
The seminar was organised by Perkins customer Sterling Generators in collaboration with Perkins distributor for North and East India, Powerparts Private Limited.
The event included presentations from Abhinav Gupta, Perkins regional marketing manager for South Asia, Pankaj Kumar Jha, Perkins India general sales manager and Atul Jain, president, Sterling & Wilson Powergen Pvt Ltd.
Abhinav said: “We are delighted to be part of these events. It was a great opportunity for us to reach out to our target audience and share details on our dependable products that are designed to meet the needs of our Indian customers.”
