OrangeParts is introducing the BlueZone - The new way to prevent accidents with industrial vehicles. The BlueZone is an advanced detection system that uses ultrasonic sensors to identify people and objects promptly.

Today, OrangeParts introduces the latest safety trend for the intralogistics market: the BlueZone. Following the major success of the BlueSpot LED Light, OrangeParts’ expectations for the BlueZone are high. BlueZone could even have as great a positive impact on safety in the intralogistics industry as BlueSpot.

What is the BlueZone?
The BlueZone is a safety system that actively helps to avoid accidents or collisions with people or objects. Thanks to the active detection system, the risk of accidents and/or collisions during certain manoeuvres decreases. The system can be set up to activate automatically when you drive in reverse. The Bluezone is suitable for various industrial vehicles, such as forklifts, tractors, lorries or hydraulic platforms and even excavators.

Not a replacement, a perfect addition
Let’s clear up any misunderstanding right from the start: the BlueZone must not be seen as the replacement to the successful BlueSpot LED Light 9-96V. Indeed, the new safety system must be seen as the perfect addition. The two products complement each other. The BlueSpot warns passers-by of oncoming industrial vehicles, while the BlueZone ensures that the operator of the industrial vehicle is alerted when people or objects are detected in the detection zone. Using these two safety accessories on your forklift or other industrial vehicle, the chances of accidents or collisions decrease dramatically. Safety first!

Exceptionally alert
The BlueZone uses patented technology. The ultrasonic sensors are able to continuously and reliably detect objects or people within a range of up to 4 metres of the sensor. The included display warns the operator of the vehicle promptly by means of a visual and an audible signal. The frequency of the warning signal increases the closer the object is to the sensor on the vehicle.
