Flexi Narrow Aisle enjoyed a very successful two days when it exhibited at the UK trade show, IntraLogisteX 2016 recently.
Held at the famous RICOH Arena, home to both Coventry City Football Club and London Wasps RFC, the show attracted many of the leading suppliers of logistics and materials handling solutions.
Joanne Wilson, Narrow Aisle’s Sales Operations Manager, comments: “Intralogistex has been a successful show for us and this year was no different. We met many senior people from diverse industries - many of whom were at the show to discuss their plans for the implementation of major handling systems.
“Visitors from the grocery sector were particularly keen to learn about our new FlexiPiCK - a pallet layer picking system that allows over 1000 cases per hour to be order picked by one operator.
“The FlexiPiCK’s clever design enables users to take advantage of the increasingly popular layer quantity order picking concept, well established in the USA. The Flexi Pick allows users to adopt the technology without the need to invest in the kind of high fixed cost guided forktruck based units automated handling using gantry robot layer picking systems installed by the major FMCG brands.
“We have already arranged follow-up meetings with a number of organisations that we met at Intralogistex 2016 to discuss how the FlexiPiCK can be benefit their operation.”
There was also strong interest in the Flexi AC 1000, an entry-level Flexi AC model that has been specifically designed for customers in the high street and SME sector who want to save space on their compact storage facilities and back of retail store handling applications by using a truck that can operate both inside the warehouse and outside in the unloading yard.
The Flexi AC 1000 truck can lift loads weighing up to 1.7 tonnes and lift to heights of over 7 metres and offer optimum pallet put-away and retrieval in very narrow aisles as compact as 1.6 metres wide.
