NACCO Materials Handling Group (NMHG) recently hosted North Carolina Congressman Walter Jones for a tour of its manufacturing facility in Greenville, N.C.

The visit, which included a discussion with NMHG executives across a range of departments and a plant tour, allowed Jones and NMHG to continue dialog which began in June at National Forklift Safety Day, when company executives met with the Congressman to discuss various topics concerning the lift truck manufacturing industry.

“As a leading voice on critical issues affecting our industry, NMHG is committed to working closely with national and local leaders to affect positive change,” said Chuck Pascarelli, NMHG President of the Americas. “While events like National Forklift Safety Day are critical to advancing the discussion, these local Congressional visits are evidence of our year-round efforts to showcase the great work being done in American manufacturing, and to educate them on the challenges and opportunities facing all lift truck manufacturers.”
