Manitou Group, a major actor on the material handling market launched the MI range in 2012, constituting a brand new range of thermal forklift trucks. Designed by Manitou and assembled in China, these 12 new models completed a unique collection of industrial products (warehousing equipment, semi-industrial masted forklift-trucks, truck mounted forklifts, and aerial work platforms), and combined innovation, quality and performance.

Endowed with over forty years of expertise on the industrial material handling market with the distribution of Toyota products in France, the group has capitalized on this know-how for the benefit of its networks around the world.

The correct positioning of MI products enables us to combine this with a range of services such as maintenance, financing, short-term rental and fleet management, which are extremely important on this competitive market.

In 2015, more than 80% of sales are made out of France and 20% outside Europe. The keys to success: strong, basic and reliable design, ease of maintenance and safe operation, excellent value for money and coverage of an efficient after sales network combined with excellent availability of the spare parts.

Our current range 1,5 to 3,5 tons capacity, diesel-gasoline and gas engines, covers over 60% of this market segment. 22 new models from 4 to 10 tons are being launched this year!

Next step, the compliance engine to North American standards to develop our market shares on this growing market. The MI range of products is a real success story!

Come visit Manitou at Intermat Paris in April 20-25, stand 5b F 015.
