In 2014 Douglas Battery™ introduced three new battery chargers for industrial lift truck applications:
•The compact, high efficiency Douglas™ Legacy® NEO™ charger for applications where space is limited.
•The versatile, high-powered Douglas™ Legacy® Insight™ HF charger that enables opportunity charge for a wide range of batteries.
•The high-speed, fully automatic, high frequency Raptor™ Rapid charger for large-scale, multi-shift industrial lift truck applications.

Our Raptor Rapid charger recharges batteries three to five times faster than conventional units, allowing operators to fully and easily charge their forklift batteries during normal breaks and forklift downtimes. The Raptor charger can be used whenever a full or partial charge is needed, avoiding productivity downtime and ultimately reducing operating costs."

Legacy Nero
Douglas™ Legacy® Neo™ HF charger is a small, compact model that combines high efficiency and high power. It is ideal for operations in which space is at a premium. The Legacy Neo HF charger’s Ionic profile constantly diagnoses the battery’s condition and adjusts the charging curve for optimum charge. Providing an optimum charge reduces heat and overcharge for maximum battery life. This charger is available in manual or automatic in three charging profiles: Ionic (flooded), Cold Store or VRLA Battery.

Legacy Insight
Douglas™ Legacy® Insight™ HF charger delivers a higher power factor and efficiency than conventional chargers for reduced electrical bills. The Legacy Insight HF charger is capable of opportunity charge and can automatically charge batteries of various voltages and capacities. This can reduce or eliminate the need to change batteries during a shift. This versatile charger is available in manual or automatic in four charging profiles: Ionic (flooded) Opportunity Charge, Flooded Battery, Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) Battery and Cold Storage.

The Raptor™ Rapid charger is available in both wall and floor mount options and the modular configuration of the Raptor™ Rapid charger provides the flexibility to maintain optimum efficiency at all times. If a module faults, the charger bypasses the module in order for charging to continue to keep operations productive. The Raptor™ Rapid charger also returns batteries to a full state of charge without generating excess heat, ultimately reducing energy usage and protecting the battery from the risk of damage from excessive heat.
