A group of city leaders headed by Feng XU, the Municipal Party Secretary Qidong City, Jiangsu Provicne and Weifeng HUANG, the city mayor recently visited Binhai Industrial Park to inspect the factory area of Jiangsu Gather Power Industry Co., Ltd.

Presentations from President Jieren LIU and the General Manager Jiang ZHU of Jiangsu Gather Power Industry Co., Ltd provided an update on the project progress and the factory development, which were affirmed by the city leaders. Positive feedback and support were given by the leaders.

Jiangsu Gather Power Industry Co., Ltd is a joint venture manufacturing base of Shanghai Gather Power Industry Co., Ltd and Shanghai Gather Power Mechanical Technology Co., Ltd. The factory is located in northern Shanghai’s Qidong Binhai Industrial Park, one hour from Shanghai.

The factory occupies 50 mu of land, and represents a total investment of 15 billion Yuan. The factory is dedicated to R&D, manufacture and sales of logistics equipment products such as a series of electric warehouse forklifts and container cranes, with 8,000 vehicles assembled per year.

Shanghai Gather Power Mechanical Technology Co., Ltd has a number of independent intellectual property rights and product patents. The project was approved by the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Fund and National Science and Technology Innovation Fund in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Shanghai Gather Power Industrial Co., Ltd is mainly an international trading company that focuses on the business of logistics equipment exports. Currently, the company is GP’s agent, with more than 20 independent brands overseas, and products being exported to more than 50 countries and regions.

The installation and testing of Jiangsu Gather Power Industry Co., Ltd’s factory equipment and production lines has almost been completed, and is currently in the trial phase. In 2015, the company plans to develop high-end 1.5-3T electric pallet trucks, 1-2T electric stackers (including reach stackers and counterbalance stackers), 1.5-2T electric reach forklifts, 1.5-2T three-wheel electric forklift trucks, 20-36T integrated container cranes and 36T electric container cranes, amongst other products.

Jiangsu Gather Power Industry Co., Ltd will take a fresh approach in order to actively focus on the R&D and manufacture of logistics equipment, producing high quality and stable performance within products, and creating a highly efficient and people-friendly management strategy to give the company an edge over its competition, and contribute to the development of Chinese logistical equipment industry.
