Crane workstations by Konecranes are designed to precisely fit the different lifting needs of diverse industries, offering the flexibility to be changed to suit the evolving needs of the user. Representing one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges, Konecranes workstations provide safe and customisable lifting solutions for various applications.
The Konecranes WLS family of Workstation Lifting Systems ranges from handheld lifting tools to robust hoists up to 2-ton capacity. One of the world’s leading crane manufacturers and the world’s largest crane service organisation with more than 420,000 cranes of all makes under service contract worldwide, Konecranes boasts of enormous experience across a broad range of industries, including aerospace, automotive and metals; food and beverage; manufacturing and materials handling; mining and energy; oil and gas; resources fabrication and maintenance; road, rail and off-road vehicle maintenance; primary and production process; and shipping and transport.
Designed for safety, the flexible and efficient WLS family of workstations is available throughout Australasia. The innovative design and ergonomic features of the WLS family help ensure that operators can rely on their equipment and go home unharmed at the end of the shift. Key design benefits of the WLS family include flexibility in use and adaptability to changing production requirements and operating environments.
Uptime is optimised by the inbuilt reliability of the crane systems, supported by Konecranes’ local and global service organisation.
Konecranes’ WLS family of crane workstations include:
CLX electric chain hoists
Offering up to 5000kg of lasting lifting power, CLX electric chain hoists have 50% ED rating (up to FEM 3m) with 300 starts per hour. Easy serviceability and simple maintenance access minimise downtime, allowing simple replacement of components with plug-in connections.
SLX electric chain hoists
Designed for demanding use, SLX electric chain hoists combine CLX features with stepless hoisting speeds with inverter, in addition to advanced efficiency and safety technologies comprising of electronic overload device, slack chain control, and programmable limit switches.
XA aluminium workstation cranes
Approximately 50% lighter than steel alternatives, XA aluminium workstation cranes are extremely light and durable. Key features include load capacity up to 2000kg; smooth running on high quality joint connections; system profiles with bolt connections enabling easy extensions; and anodised aluminium surfaces optimal for clean environments.
ATB AirBalancer and ATL vertical lifters
ATB AirBalancer and ATL vertical lifters utilise pneumatic power for efficient, silent and clean lifting operations. ATB AirBalancer is a pneumatic lifting device with a floating load unit for picking, lifting, moving and placing loads up to 350kg, employing air pressure as the power source to make items practically weightless. ATL vertical lifters provide sway-free lifting and precise manoeuvring; combined with the XA crane system, they provide environment-friendly solutions to improve workstation efficiency.
Konecranes XM steel enclosed track cranes and jib cranes
Available in standard capacities up to 2000kg, Konecranes XM steel enclosed track cranes and jib cranes offer durable solutions for light material lifting and repetitive lifting requirements. The XM modular system is easy to install, modify and extend, while its long support interval minimises steel support structures and reduces overall costs. Konecranes pillar jib cranes slew up to 270 degrees, and can be wall mounted at 180 degrees; the cranes also feature a unique console bearing that allows easy and accurate horizontal beam adjustment.
Konecranes manual products
Designed for environments where there is no access to electricity, Konecranes manual products offer an economical solution with wide load ranges and design features to enhance work ergonomics. The manual range includes manual hoists, hand chain blocks, lever pullers, manual cranes, articulated push trolleys, and versatile manual trolleys for demanding use with manual and electric hoists.
Workstation advantages
The Konecranes WLS family makes available the right lifting solution for every workstation, maximising productivity in any application. Workstations ensure self-sufficiency in personnel since there are no wait times and existing overhead cranes do not exceed their intended duty cycle. Workstations are also utilised to reduce forklift traffic, increasing available production space and safety.
Light-lifting workstation cranes are the perfect solution for enhancing safety while maximising productivity and uptime. Workstation cranes often support larger production cranes, ensuring that equipment, floor space and personnel are fully utilised. Workstation cranes are also designed to maximise the use of limited space in busy industrial settings.
