Building on recent success in the compact equipment sector, leading global construction solutions provider, Terex, has reached an agreement with one of the UK’s leading equipment hire companies A-Plant, to supply 230 specialist Terex® Power Tip site dumper units throughout 2014.

The brand new TA1, TA3, TA6 and TA9 dumpers, which are manufactured at the Terex Coventry facility, will be used on construction and building sites across the UK as part of A-Plant‘s extensive dumper fleet.

As well as bringing the firm’s site dumper equipment up-to-date and providing operators with reliable and hard-wearing construction workhorses, the new units will all be fitted with the latest in emissions reductions technology to comply with European Stage IIIB engine specifications; providing confidence to site managers that these newest units meet the latest site equipment regulations and reduce their emissions.

“We’re delighted to announce the latest in a long line of recent site dumper orders,” commented Neal Nowick, General Manager of Terex Coventry.

“Our range of compact construction equipment has gone from strength to strength over the last few years, which has led to us introducing a number of new technologies and design features, as well as the latest engine management and emissions reduction systems.

“This announcement is testament to the heritage, quality and future vision of our site dumper range and reflects a rising demand for hard-wearing and reliable equipment, designed and built in the UK, using innovative processes and proven designs.

“Robust and efficient, Terex® site dumpers are built to handle the most challenging conditions and demanding use, making them an ideal tool for the UK’s construction rental market.

Asif Latief, Marketing & Strategic Accounts Director at A-Plant commented, “Our decision to invest in a new suite of Terex equipment reflects our confidence in the dumpers’ reliability and low cost of ownership”.

“We pride ourselves in offering an extensive portfolio of construction equipment. The new site dumpers will be a great addition to our range and will play a highly important part in various national construction projects over the next few years,” adds Latief.

This latest announcement comes as part of continued recent successes for the Terex Coventry facility. Earlier this year, the compact construction equipment expert announced the creation of 50 new engineering jobs at its factory site in Prologis Park, as well as committing to the government’s Think, Act, Report initiative, which has already seen the female workforce increase by a third. Additionally, Terex recently launched its latest class-leading backhoe loader, the TLB990, which offers greater performance and more features than ever before.
