On July 3rd to 4th, CIO Summit of Logistics Enterprise was successfully held in Hohhot. The summit, with the theme of “Smart Logistics in Big Data Era”, built a platform for relevant parties of e-commerce and logistics information, while actively promoted the intelligent application of information technology in the logistics industry.

The summit also commended the award-winning enterprises. After the experts’ review, the “VMI supplier inventory management system, lean production in missing pieces of early warning system” applied by Linde FLT was awarded “2014 China Logistics and Purchasing Informatization of Typical Cases” and was included into the “China Logistics and Purchasing Informatization of Typical Cases” set.

Mr. Thang Swee Yong, the Vice President of Linde FLT, attended the summit and accepted the award on behalf of Linde FLT. He claimed that forklift market has entered a new phase of diverse demand, and supply chain management under the traditional model is no longer able to meet the demands. Linde will keep on exploring and innovating to improve the standard of informationalized logistics.
