Successfully completed the adventure from the Guinness Book of World Record®
Yesterday morning at 9 am, was celebrated in Pirkkala (FIN) Leo's successful journey towards the record

Yesterday morning at 9 am Leo Terqujeff has reached Pirkkala, where his Guinness World Record achieved on board of the Merlo Panoramic P 25.6 after traveling 4300 km in 33 days was celebrated.

A journey that led him through half of Europe: Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, before arriving in Finland.

The Guinness World Records has recognized the exceptional nature of this enterprise homologating it as official record. Leo Turguieff, on-board of the Merlo P25.6, becomes the person to have completed "The longest journey aboard a telehandler" bearing witness to the unique performance and reliability.

With this new record Merlo, and its exclusive hydrostatic transmission, demonstrates the strength of its telehandlers that excel not only for performance but also for reliability, technology and innovation.

The Merlo hydrostatic transmission has indeed passed these stringent tests, since the P25.6 has traveled the 4300 km without any problem. This record is even more significant when one considers that it was obtained with the most  compact machine that Merlo offers on the market. Compact size, however, is not at the expense of performance (the P25.6 is the only telescope in its class to reach 36Km/h) and comfort (with its 1010mm overall width is the widest cabin in its category).

Leo2s arrival was celebrated at the official home of Rotator (Merlo importer in Finland) with an exciting event that has followed live the last kilometers traveled by Leo thanks to the camera mounted in the cabin and MerloMobility  geolocation system. It is a sophisticated system to manage the telemetry information created and developed within the group that made it possible to map the progress of Leo in his journey, to remotely control the state of health of the P25.6 and was a key technology to certify the record for the Guinness World Record ®.
