European Handling Equipment has launched the latest generation of Mariotti compact electric rider forklifts in the UK. Providing lifting capacities from 400kg to 1200kg, the range includes 14 models designed to operate in extremely limited space that would be impossible for conventional trucks to negotiate.

Mariotti compact forklifts are powered by 24 volt or 36 volt long-life batteries to ensure optimum performance throughout the most arduous working shifts. Depending on model, the trucks offer many standard features including AC drive and pump motors, hydraulic brakes, electronic lift controls, power steering, integrated sideshift, cushion or Super elastic tyres plus curve speed control (CSC).

Innovative design and modern manufacturing technology have been combined to produce the most compact electric rider forklifts in the world. With minimum truck lengths of just 1095mm and overall widths of 788mm, the series offers all the functions of much larger trucks within an extremely short wheelbase. This provides unrivalled versatility, excellent stability, precise movement and fatigue-free driver comfort.

This latest generation of Mariotti compact forklifts draws on the experience of users in many different industries throughout Europe during the last 30 years. Feedback from customers within food and drink, engineering, electronics, aerospace, automotive, warehousing and many other sectors has been invaluable in developing a truly innovative and affordable family of trucks.

"We've always enjoyed healthy sales levels for our Mariotti trucks," says Andy Williams, European Handling Equipment's managing director. "People are genuinely amazed when they see how manoeuvrable and versatile these little trucks are. They really do offer big truck performance within a small footprint. As maximum space utilisation becomes increasingly important in almost every application, I'm confident that these little diamonds will continue to sell themselves."

European Handling Equipment offers demonstrations of the latest generation Mariotti electric rider compact trucks which are available from the company's nationwide dealer network. Also, all trucks in the range are covered by a full 12 months on site parts and labour warranty.
