Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) is extending the scope of its total offer by providing a full range of racking solutions, including conventional pallet racking, high density pallet racking and non-palletised racking. This will further broaden the scope of TMHE’s material handling approach to bring exceptional efficiency to material handling operations.

“We aim to provide our customers with complete and fully integrated handling solutions,” explains Hans Larsson, Director Logistics Solutions and Development, Toyota Material Handling Europe “Racking is an essential part of most warehouses and it is a natural step for us to take, as it will allow us to work even more closely with our customers and ensure a perfect fit for all of the equipment involved in the material handling process – maximising both efficiency and safety. This also reflects our evolving customer demands for complete intralogistics solutions.”

Racking systems represent nearly half of the total warehouse equipment market in Europe, so the initiative also provides TMHE with the opportunity to further increase its revenues and market position.
“Quality is a key issue for Toyota, and this philosophy naturally extends to our racking solutions,” continues Hans Larsson. “This is reflected both in our choice of manufacturer, Mecalux S.A (Barcelona, Spain), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of racking systems, and also the fact that we will be extending our service operations to ensure we offer the same high quality standards as we do for our forklift trucks.”
The move into racking solutions follows similar recent announcements made by Toyota Material Handling Europe about its Logistics Solutions offering, with other complementary products such as autopilot systems, Toyota I_Site fleet management solutions and the innovative SpotMe warning system.

The new ‘Toyota Material Handling Racking Solutions’ range includes standard pallet racking, push-back racking, drive-in racking, mobile racking and gravity flow racking. BT Radioshuttle automated load carrier is also part of the range. The racking family also includes non-palletised racking: shelving, cantilever, and live storage for picking.
The Racking Solutions will be one of the many new products, solutions and technologies that Toyota Material Handling will be presenting during CeMAT 2014 (19th-23rd May). Come and be surprised in Hanover at Pavilion 32!
