Time flies, Linde (China) ushered in the brilliant 20th year of development. The 20th Anniversary Celebration was held in Xiamen International Conference Center Hotel on 6 Dec., 2013. Senior leaders such as KION Group AG, CEO, Mr. Gordon Riske; KION Group AG, Member of the Executive Board, Linde Material Handling CEO, Mr. Theodor Maurer; President of KION Asia, Member of the Executive Board, Linde (China) Forklift Truck Corp., Ltd. CEO, Mr. Chingpong Quek; Head of Economic Dept of German Embassy, Ms. Beate Grzeski; Secretary of CITA (Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association), Ms. Zhang Jie; KION Group AG, Representative of supervisory board member, Mr. Jiang Kui and numerous customers of Linde FLT nationwide attended to share the celebration with Linde FLT. 
 
See through the history back in December, 1993, when Linde FLT first came to the Garden City-Xiamen. Linde FLT has become the leader among foreign forklift brands with providing full range of high-quality forklifts, professional full-service and total material handling solutions. Looking back in 2004, Linde “Trans-China Forklift Rally” created a new Shanghai Great World Record - "Linde Explorer - Forklift Truck with the Longest Journey”. In 2007, Linde FLT and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing jointly organized the "Linde Cup China Tour", once again created another new Shanghai Great World Record. This year, Linde FLT launched "Tibet Challenge" from Chengdu to Lhasa from May to June, which was another pinnacle in the industry.
 
In the morning ceremony，KION Group AG, CEO, Mr. Gordon Riske, Head of Economic Dept of German Embassy, Ms. Beate Grzeski and Secretary of CITA, Ms. Zhang Jie gave a wonderful welcome speech separately, expressed their warm congratulation, President of KION Asia, Member of the Executive Board, Linde (China) Forklift Truck Corp., Ltd. CEO, Mr. Chingpong Quek also presented a speech. Meanwhile, the release of “Tibet Challenge” micro movie, Forklift Diary, touched every audience. Forklift Diary talks about “Linde Challenger” travelled 2228 km and crossed the altitude of 5013 meters within 29 days, challenged the dangerous and high altitude of Tibet line, this is not just an exciting journey from Chengdu to Lhasa, and it is even a gift for the 20th anniversary of Linde FLT in China, an interpretation of a remarkable journey from good to great. In the Kick-off Ceremony, KION Group AG, CEO, Mr. Gordon Riske handed the key which symbolized success to Mr. Chingpong Quek, subsequently all the VIPs had the kick-off ceremony together, which reached the climax of the celebration. 
 
During the 100,000th Linde Forklift Truck Delivery Ceremony, Mr. Chingpong Quek delivered the key to the customer of FAW International Logistics Co., Ltd., which has cooperated with Linde FLT for 15 years and actively involved in several forklift competitions such as Linde Cup and Global Forklift Truck Competiton. 
 
In the afternoon Linde Customer Forum, KION Group AG, Member of the Executive Board, Linde Material Handling CEO, Mr. Theodor Maurer described the global material handling market status and then analyzed the advantages of Linde as an industry leader. Mr. Chingpong Quek also introduced how Linde (China) was closed to the demands of Chinese market and provided customer-oriented innovative logistics solutions. Afterwards, management team of Linde (China) shared the essence of diverse content of management with the Drama Form. It is worth mentioning that customer representative of Fuyao Group also showed the growth and win-win situation between Linde FLT and Fuyao Group during 20 years. All customers who attended benefited a lot from this forum, just like having a MBA management course.
 
With the success of Linde FLT 20th Anniversary Celebration, the two decades would be not only a memorable milestone, but also a new start for a new journey. In the future, Linde FLT will continue pursuing performance, and truly make it from good to great.
