COLUMBUS, Ind. - Governor Mike Pence will join executives from Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) at 11 a.m. Monday for a ribbon cutting ceremony of its new North American headquarters in Columbus.
TMHU, the supplier of the number one selling lift truck in North America, announced plans in April 2012 to relocate its national headquarters from Irvine, Calif. to Columbus, Ind., creating 72 new jobs. Construction on the expanded facilities, which represent a multi-million dollar investment, added 21,400 square feet to the 126-acre Toyota campus. TMHU's existing Columbus offices are physically connected to Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg., Inc., a zero landfill manufacturing facility where the majority of Toyota lift trucks sold in North America are built
