To celebrate Linde FLT 20th anniversary, response to western logistics development strategy and promote green logistics, Linde FLT launched "Tibet Rally" series event and CSR program from Chengdu to Tibet from May to June, 2013. The “Tibet Rally” event got the support from CFLP (China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing), CITA (Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association), Sichuan Province Logistics Association and Chengdu Logistics Association and once again challenged the Shanghai Great World Guinness Records, made a logistics industry pioneer. 
 
A decade ago, Linde FLT “Trans-China Rally” created a Shanghai Great World Guinness Records - "The Forklift Truck with the Longest Journey, a Linde 3 tons combustion engine forklift truck set off from Harbin – the China's most northern city, through dozens of cities and finally arrived at the most southern city of Shenzhen, there was no parallel in history. In 2013, Linde FLT is back on the road, starts an exciting journey from Chengdu to Lhasa.
 
The Linde FLT departed on May 23 from Chengdu, passing Ya'an, Kangting, Yajiang, Litang, Batang to Tibet Mangkam, Bomda, Basoi, Bowo and Nyingchi to reach the final destination Lhasa. Along the way, Linde engineers drove the Linde internal combustion counterbalanced forklift HT30 at an average speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour traveling on the Tibet line, which is considered as the Chinese most dangerous and the most beautiful scenery highway, it passed the beautiful Ya'an Mengding Mountain, the Kangting Love Song Square, the highest altitude of Litang Town, the snow-covered plateau Nyingchi, the Bowo paradise, the amazing Ranwu Lake and the dangerous Tongmai natural barrier. It climbed the altitude of 4298 meters Zheduo Mountain, 4412 meters of The Gaoersi, 4718 meters of Kazila Mountain, 5008 meters of Dongda Mountain and the 5013 meters of Mila Mountain. After a tough climbing, bend down and snow, "Linde Challenger HT30" withstood the test of the entire power system, the advantages of suitable for harsh working conditions and traveling long distances was beyond expectation, again confirmed Linde FLT strong power reserve. Along the way, engineers also fulfilled Linde "customer-oriented" service concept, visited the Kangting Ganzi Tobacco Logistics Center, the Nyingchi military and other customers. It not only demonstrated the excellent quality of Linde forklift but also attentive service, meanwhile Linde FLT also fulfilled the corporate social responsibility, launched "1 + N Love Plan" public welfare activities, care of the students in Tibet poor areas, donated to Tibet Ranwu Primary School and to serve the society.
 
In the afternoon of June 20, 2013, Linde FLT held a themed "Efficient Logistics Green Purchasing" brand summit in the Kaiyuan Lhasa Hotel which is called Solar City in the destination - Lhasa, its products and services with German advanced technology left a deep impression for many well-known companies attended, including the Tibetan army, Tibet Airlines, China Post and so on. Subsequently, "Linde Tibet Rally - Extreme Rally, Peak Challenge " Lhasa Celebration and Awarding Ceremony was held in the hotel's conference center, VIPs from CPLA (Chinese People's Liberation Army), CITA (Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association) , and prominent local media were invited to attend the meeting. At the meeting, Mrs. Zhang Jie, secretary of the CITA introduced the Chinese material handling market development situation, she advocated for green logistics community concern and appreciated for the Linde’s innovative contributions for material handling industry. Mr. Ruan Yanshan, Vice Director of Xiamen Economic Development Bureau was very pleased to see Linde FLT this outstanding enterprise develops their own while still fulfills their social responsibilities. After a brilliant Tibetan dance show, all the guests had an excited countdown to welcome the Linde team’s return, at the moment when the forklift truck entered the venue while the fireworks bursting, the atmosphere suddenly came to a climax, Mr. Quek Chingpong, CEO of Linde FLT was so excited to greet and hugged the team, the team was also awarded with the "Tibet Rally Hero", when receiving their families surprised greetings, the team members were touched and eyes were suffused with warm, excited tears, excitement and emotional hardships also infected all the guests.
