The Fork Lift Truck Association has announced it will be hosting a stand at the Logistics Link South Exhibition 2013 in order to meet truck owners and operators, and to help them optimise operations by running their trucks more safely and more efficiently.

The FLTA plays an increasingly prominent role in promoting safe working practices across all areas of the materials handling industry. Their popular Safe User Group is aimed at directors, managers and supervisors – providing them with clear, concise information on all aspects of legislations as well as best practice. For less than £15 per month, members of the Safe User Group receive health & safety newsletters, technical bulletins, fact sheets, safety alerts, employment law bulletins, access to expert, independent help-lines and much more.

Chief Executive Peter Harvey says:  “This is a great opportunity for people to come and speak to us and see how their organisation would benefit from signing up as Safe Users.

“We are proud to provide a service that currently helps companies of every type and size throughout the UK to improve safety and avoid unnecessary risks. We are looking forward to engaging with truck users for whom safety is a top priority.”

In addition to learning about the Safe User Group, visitors to Stand No.81 can find out the benefits of using an FLTA Member Company.

The Logistics Link South Exhibition takes place at Sandown Park on the 12th - 13th February 2013.
