Shen Peng, the Deputy Director of CFAA and General Manager of Shanghai Qijin Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. made a speech circulating the training of after market workers, which was one of the componential task for Qijin after the establishment of CFAA. He said that in order to improve the capacity of the workers responsible for maintaining the forklifts in the member companies, CAFF had made the decision to hold the first session of training for electric forklift maintenance in Qijin after the Lunar New Year’ Day. Mr. Shen told the guests that the trainees would be the forklift maintainers, salesman, managers and forklift operators engaged in forklift repairs and maintenance, and welcomed all the professionals to take part in the training programs.

Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Guagnzhou Folangsi Machinery Co., Ltd. Zhu Xiaodong narrated the responsibility of Folangsi in CFAA. He said that Folangsi underwent great changes in the past 12 years, making breakthroughs in the field of parts and accessories in the aftermarket, which relied on the progress of the whole industrial vehicle industry and the support from the peer in this industry. Folangsi would go on making more contributions to the development of the industrial vehicle aftermarket in China.

During the five-hour meeting, representatives from the forklift dealer companies including Shanghai Anhe, Beijing Heshengxinghang and Zhejiang Goodsense delivered speeches. They held the common view that till the year 2011, the quantity of forklifts on Chinese market had nearly been 1,300,000 sets. According to the rough statistics of Chinaforklift.com, there were over 5000 forklift dealers engaging in the forklift aftermarket in China, and every year there were 5000 sets of used forklifts dealt on the market, 5000 sets of forklifts for renting, of which the number kept increasing dramatically. However, they also pointed out that due to the different regional conditions, companies were so different from each other on the aspects of developing scale, resulting in the chaos situation of service. The prosperity and growth of the forklift aftermarket need all the companies in the industry to make every effort to regulate the norms, make the rules, enhance the industrial standard so as to ensure the steady development of the whole industrial vehicle and forklift aftermarket industry.

After the annual meeting, the guests of CFAA Annual Meeting went to visit Anhui DEMO New Energy Forklift Co., Ltd. under the invitation of the General Manager Cao Jun. Relying on the development in the past years, DEMO formed two manufacturing bases in Anhui and Sichuan Province. DEMO firstly developed four-directional reach truck, filling the gap on the domestic market.
