In 2012, Shanghai LiuGong Forklift Co., Ltd. welcomed the tenth anniversary on the aspects of business development. On August 20, Shanghai LiuGong Forklift Co., Ltd. held the grand 10^th Anniversary Ceremony at Xiangyong Haixian Hotel in Qingpu District, Shanghai. More than 200 guests attended the ceremony, including the directors, superiors from famous enterprises in the industry and the distributors, part suppliers and representatives from Shanghai LiuGong Forklift Co., Ltd., such as Wang Xiaohua the Chairman of the Board and Secretary of Party Committee, CPC of Guangxi LiuGong Group Co., Ltd., Huang Min the Vice President of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. (LiuGong), Wang Taiping the General Manger of Forklift Department in Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., Chen Lie the Vice General Manager of Forklift Department in Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., Lan Gu the General Manager of Shanghai LiuGong Forklift Co., Ltd., Zhang Defan the General Manager of Zhejiang Xinchai Co., Ltd., Wei Yulong the General Manager of Hefei Shinny Instruments & Control Technology Co., Ltd., Jin Gangqiang the General Manager of Shaoxing Gear Factory, Shang Zhichao the General Manager of Wenzhou Jiuheng Machinery Co., Ltd. and Li Yuxing the General Manager of Shanghai Guanxiong Industry Commerce Development Co., Ltd.

This ceremony was presided by Chen Lie the Vice General Manager of Forklift Department in Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. At the beginning of the ceremony, a delivery ceremony was held for the forklifts to be exported overseas, on which Wang Xiaohua the Chairman of the Board and Secretary of Party Committee, CPC of Guangxi LiuGong Group Co., Ltd. handed over the golden key to Qin Yi, Director of International Department in Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd.

After the delivery ceremony, Wang Xiaohua the Chairman of the Board of Guangxi LiuGong Group Co., Ltd. and Huang Min the Vice President of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. awarded the Top Ten Workers, and rewarded the prized associated to the performances on the tenth anniversary, including the contests in terms of basketball, tug-of-war and Chinese chess.

General Manager of Shanghai LiuGong Forklift Co., Ltd. Lan Gu gave a speech on the ceremony. “It is the tenth anniversary of Shanghai LiuGong today, and also in August Shanghai LiuGong successfully realized the goal of exporting 100 sets of forklifts. During the four years from 2003 to 2007 when LiuGong entered forklift industry, the export volume of Shanghai LiuGong was only 123 sets,” said Lan Gu, “at present, the export of Shanghai LiuGong in one month has reached the sum of the past four years. This is the best return for all the workers in Shanghai LiuGong to try their best to develop the forklifts needed by the foreign dealers, and also the result of LiuGong superiors to list and insistently invest in the forklift into their strategic business. Shanghai LiuGong has the resolution to provide the customers with the products of better quality, greater serviceability and shorter delivery period.”

Wang Taiping, the General Manger of Forklift Department in Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. introduced the development process and excellent achievements of Shanghai LiuGong in these ten years. “In the past ten years, the economy developed in a fast rate in China, constructing a golden period for the rapid progress of forklift industry in China. With the correct leading and sound support of LiuGong superiors, Forklift Department insisted in practicing LiuGong’s strategy and obtained obvious progress. The forklift sales amount in LiuGong was only 200 sets in 2000, and it had been 3823 sets in 2011 after which LiuGong challenged the goal of 5000 sets in 2012 as the sales revenue doubled and the profits had turned from deficits in the past years. The structure of the staff has gradually been optimized and the working efficiency dramatically increased within the confined working area, ensuring the complete use of the human resources,” said Mr. Wang.

“Against the situation that the forklift market faced with more and fiercer competition, LiuGong will continue to focus on adjusting the product structure, paying more attention on the export of forklifts, the design and development of medium and large tonnage forklifts and the progress of electric forklifts,” he said, “the company will go further to rectify the construction and improvement of dealing channels and to sustainably enhance the quality and service level through controlling the cost and shortening the delivery period. LiuGong will strengthen the management of dealership network, and strictly control the expenses to support the reforms in the company so as to greatly enhance the efficiency and productivity, realizing the goal of providing the customers with global manufacturing, sales and service of industrial vehicles.”

Huang Minm the Vice President of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. (LiuGong) then delivered his speech, talking about the future of LiuGong. “Along with the continuous constriction of domestic market demands on the forklifts, a new wave of price competition is inevitable. In order to stand steadily in such a cruel market environment, we have to provide the customers with the best products in shorter delivery period and use stricter cost control measures to face with the challenges,” said Mr. Huang, “the past ten years witnessed the hard working of Shanghai LiuGong, and has become the bright record in the development history of LiuGong. Under the guide of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, LiuGong will continue to strive for a better and brighter future.”

Wang Xiaohua the Chairman of the Board and Secretary of Party Committee, CPC of Guangxi LiuGong Group Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony. “LiuGong forklifts successfully transformed from a brand the customers knew little to an enterprise that is popular in the forklift industry. Shanghai LiuGong has experienced the hardships in the beginning to the rapid growth today. When compared with the business situation in 2002, the sales volume and sales revenue of Shanghai LiuGong increased 1811.5% and 1573.67% respectively in 2011. After the first half of 2012, Shanghai LiuGong has turned the deficit situation with net profits reaching RMB 3.101 million Yuan. The working staff are more energetic and capable,” said Mr. Wang, “I hope that under the leadership of LiuGong Group and Forklift Business the workers can exert all their wisdom and spare no effort to contribute more on the leap-forward development of LiuGong.”
