Toyota Material Handling U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) today announced the appointment of Bret Bruin as national dealer development manager. Bruin is responsible for dealer network development, market representation and dealer financial reporting for the more than 70 authorized Toyota Industrial Equipment dealers and 220 dealership locations throughout North America.

"Bret’s expertise in cultivating dealer relationships, and developing incentive and recognition programs, will further strengthen our commitment to serve our customers and continue to deliver the number one selling lift truck in North America."

Bruin has worked in the material handling industry for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining Toyota, he held several managerial positions at Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America, Inc. and recently served as senior manager of dealer development and retail operations. In this position, Bruin oversaw nationwide dealer operations including the direct management of factory-owned dealerships in Houston and Los Angeles. Bruin earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Indiana University in Bloomington.
