Uphire is proud to announce that they have achieved outstanding growth in their 1st year of business. The key to Uphire's success has been their response to quickly satisfy Access Equipment and Tele Handler requirements of their clients and to go that extra mile. In just a short period of time Uphire has grown “significantly” to having one of NEWEST fleets of GENIE, JLG and Merlo machines in Sydney.
Nigel McKinley, owner of Uphire acknowledges that the last year has been an amazing experience. Going from a one man business with one machine to now employing full time staff and expanding the fleet of Access and Tele Handlers equipment to over 50+ machines. "A strong detailed Business Plan was executed in our first year as rapid growth was necessary to maintain the loyal customer base that I’ve created over many years of being in the Access industry. But effectively from the financers point of view it was a start up business. We have grown from nothing to now competing with the larger companies and expanding our fleet to now meet the demands of our forever increasing customers base" says Mr McKinley.
"Almost every week that passes we are adding a new machine to our fleet to keep up with demand" says McKinley. Uphire's fleet consists of new equipment including vertical lifts, electric & diesel scissor lifts, electric & diesel knuckle boom lifts, telescopic booms/cherry pickers, and telehandlers. Uphire only provides the best quality equipment from leading manufacturers including Genie, JLG, and Merlo. Uphire provides access equipment and tele handlers for sale, for hire, for servicing and transporting, and provide certification training at your location or ours.
Just recently Uphire has purchased 2 new Genie S85 Telescopic Booms (cherry pickers) that are MDG-15 compliant. "Our presence in the mining industry is being acknowledged and with that being said our machines need to be spec'd to meet the mining requirements. The next year ahead for Uphire is going to be just as exciting as the first year as we rollout more and more of these mining spec'd machines to regional areas of Australia".
