Recently, Vice General Manager and General Manager of Marketing Department of Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. Wan Guoquan conducted an eight-day tour, accompanied with his team to Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia from April 6 to 14, 2012 to visit four professional forklift dealers including WATTANA in local places, with the aim to get more information and the customers’ demand on the local market. On behalf of Shantui, Wan Guoquan and his team had friendly and deep communications and negotiations with the dealers, receiving fruitful results and laying sound foundations for entering the market in Southeast Asia.
In Malaysia, Wan Guoquan led the team to visit the Malaysian customer’s Kuala Lumpur headquater, the new factory and the heavy-duty forklifts operated in Port Kelang—the largest port in Malaysia. On the meeting site, the customer signed an order for five Shantui forklifts and made the schedule to sign the official dealing contract with Shantui in May when they would have gone to China to inspect the forklifts.

In Thailand, Shantui negotiated the cooperation issues on large-tonnage forklifts (above 10 ton) and forklifts under 10 ton together with two dealers. Through the mutual introduction, the dealers showed their interests on the cooperation. Moreover, President of WATTANA Wattana Sub-smpaikul said that they believed in the excellent configuration and quality of Shantui heavy-duty forklifts and hoped to go further in terms of cooperation and negotiation to develop the market in Thailand together with Shantui, in order to realize Shantui’s goal of selling 80-100 sets of large-tonnage forklifts in Thai market within 3 years.

In Indonesia, the local dealer had accepted the invitation from General Manager Wan to visit Shantui in May to further discuss the issues related to dealership.

During the development in these years, Shantui has been looking for dealers through visiting the customers and attending professional expos, and keeps cooperating with the forklift dealers in a mutual win-win way, aiming at building Shantui forklifts to be an internationalized forklift brand so as to provide the forklift users in the global world with series of forklifts featured with productivity, safety, reliability, energy-saving and efficiency.
