Columbus, Ind. — The parent company of the local Toyota forklift plant received the "Product of the Year" award by Plant Engineering Magazine.

Toyota Material Handling USA Inc. received the award for the 8-Series 4-Wheel AC electric lift truck, TMHU said in a press release.

The majority of forklifts sold by Toyota in North America is made by Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing in Columbus.
