On March 31, 2012, Shandong Shantui Construction Machinery Co. Ltd. held the launching conference to officially introduce their new series of forklifts with upgraded appearance to the customers.

2012 is significant as for Shantui, as the company began to realize leap-forward development on the new product development, manufacturing and sales, which will be crucial for Shantui to make continuous improvement. As a national large-scaled construction machinery and material handling equipment manufacturing enterprise, Shantui has first-class R&D team and advanced manufacturing techniques, together with the cooperate quality accumulated in almost 30 years’ operation, enabling to launch new forklift products onto the market to meet the demands of more customers.

Based on the market survey and investigation in more than one year, Shantui listened to the customers’ suggestions and cooperated with the design teams famous at home and abroad, putting forward several schemes for the appearance of the new forklifts. Finally, the two schemes of using yellow and green colors were well received by the customers. After the upgrade of the appearance and improvement of internal functions and quality in 3 months, Shantui forklifts were then unconcealed its mystery, to shine in front of the customers with totally new appearance.

The appearance of the new forklifts was upgraded on the basis of SF30 framework, modifying the former gray and yellow color to yellow and green. The new image passed down the design style of Shantui forklifts to be elegant while simple, paying more attention to the integrated effect of the whole color. The main body of the forklifts seemed to be more unified and tight, while the streamline framework made the Shantui forklifts more shining and attractive.

Early in 2010, Shantui had made their twelfth five-year plan for forklifts, and indicated that every year the company would launch more than 10 series of forklifts onto the market. In June, 2011, Shantui successfully held the 2011 Shantui New Forklift Launching Conference on the Seventh Guangzhou International Brand Forklift & Accessories Exhibition; in the second half year of 2011, Shantui 25 ton heavy-duty forklifts passed the investigation of National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and began to produce heavy-duty forklifts in mass.

While pursuing for the excellent performance of forklifts, Shantui also emphasized the sustainable concept to insure the eco-friendly, safe and efficiency features of each Shantui forklift. In the first half year of 2011, Shantui introduced double-fuel counterbalanced forklifts and electric counterbalanced forklifts, which made use of clear energies to provide strong power and was featured with simpler maintenance and lower fuel cost. Highly praised once being introduced onto the market, the new products had attracted lots of famous enterprises in China to form a long-term partnership with Shantui Forklift, including Grand China Logistics, Shaanxi Auto Group, Tsingtao Brewery and Weichai Power.
