The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) has announced the appointment of Michael Collier as its new Honorary Advisor on Health & Safety matters.

A highly professional and experienced Chartered Safety Practitioner, Michael
holds a host of safety-related qualifications and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety Management and Diploma in Safety and Environmental Management.

Michael writes extensively on health and safety matters and was a judge in the 2010 IMHX Design 4 Safety Awards.

UKWA’s chief executive officer, Roger Williams, commented: “I am delighted that someone with Michael’s wealth of experience has joined our team of Honorary Advisors. I am sure that any UKWA member seeking guidance on health and safety-related matters will find a discussion with Michael hugely beneficial.”

Michael Collier said: “I have worked to raise awareness of health and safety matters within the storage industry for many years and I am very much looking forward to helping UKWA members with their safety-related issues in the months to come.”

UKWA members have access to a group of Honorary Advisors covering a broad range of specialist skills from property to insurance. Their services are available to all UKWA members.
