New at the show is the upgraded compact rough terrain scissor range, a new range of HDL telehandlers and possibly the prototype of a 23 m working height telescopic boom.

The upgrades and new products are being developed following an in depth customer survey, which Haulotte has been carrying out over the last two years. The aim is to ensure all products and ranges exactly meet customers' requirements.

The upgraded rough-terrain compact scissor range: C10DX and C12DX is described as suitable for a number of applications and industries served Haulotte's rental customers, such as external maintenance, electrical, plumbing and painting.

The C10DX and C12DX are fitted with a new Kubota engine which complies with the new Tier IV standard. The new engine gives a significant reduction in noise and also reduces fuel consumption by 5% (compared to the current engine) and emissions.

Four-wheel drive, ground clearance of 270 mm and automatic hydraulic differential lock enable the machines to climb steep slopes and work productively on uneven ground.

Aware of the daily demands that aerial work platforms have to withstand, Haulotte has paid special attention robustness and the new design includes outriggers within the machine footprint to prevent damage caused by impact. The bumper and design of the first step make it much easier to get in and out of the platform and make the machine much more robust.

The two new models have been designed to be comfortable and easy to operate with fully proportional controls. One switch deploys and now also retracts the four outriggers at the same time. The turning radius of 3.5 m makes it easy to manoeuvre.

The new upper control box is more durable and reliable because of a new plug on upper control box making it easier to connect and disconnect and sensitive controls replaced by switches, for easy maintenance. A new paint treatment has also been used on the control box to make it longer lasting - four times longer.

Designed to lift loads at a height of up to 10 m, the new range of telehandlers - HTL 3210, 3510, 4010 - are aimed at construction and industry. These three new machines, add to Haulotte's existing four machines in the 14 and 17m lifting height range.

Notable about the new machines is the load capacity they have at maximum reach:  with stabilisers the HTL 3210 has a 3200kg capacity 850kg at maximum reach and the HTL 4010 a 4000kg capacity - 1200kg at maximum reach. With frame levelling HTL 3510 has a 3500 kg capacity 500kg at maximum reach.

The HTL 10 m telehandlers share common compact design being just 5m long; they have 10m maximum fork height, maximum forward reach of 7.2m and a new boom with a smooth design to offer maximum visibility.
