Yale and its dealer representative for Russia, Universal Spetstechnica LLC (UST), invited six key account customer representatives to the Masate Warehouse Manufacturing facility as part of a Major accounts initiative in Russia.
The customers, from Moscow, Nevinnomyssk and Nizhny Novgorod in Russia, are all in the process of expanding their operations and purchasing new equipment for their materials handling fleets.
Russia and CIS Yale Territory Manager, Sergey Vasiliev, and Joel Joa, Yale Warehouse Equipment Sales Manager, hosted the customers and representatives from UST. Sergey said, "Russia is currently seeing an increase in demand for materials handling equipment as companies within the country continue to innovate and expand.
“During their two-day visit, our customers took part in an extensive tour of the manufacturing facility at Masate, observed a demonstration of the latest electric counterbalance and warehouse products, as and had the opportunity to talk with the warehouse equipment designers and product managers”.
Joel Joa commented, "The feedback was extremely positive. Many of the visitors were impressed with the product range manufactured in Masate and also the scale of the facility.
“This was the first time that that these potential customers had visited one of the production facilities where Yale products are manufactured. The visit gave them great insight into the investment being made in manufacturing in Europe by Yale’s parent company, as well as the ergonomic and productivity benefits of the products."
Sergey added, "The trip was a huge success and as a result our dealer has been able to strengthen its relationship with these customers. We will definitely be repeating this type of activity in the future, as it gives us the opportunity to show our customers the strength and scale of the organisation behind the Yale brand, which is of major importance when dealing with such large customers.”
