Nissan Forklift Corporation has recently launched NFCdirect.com, a new online portal for Nissan Forklift's dealers and other partners.

NFCdirect.com allows Nissan Forklift to provide more personalized content to its partners and simplifies many online processes.

The system makes ordering easier by allowing users to make complete orders from their own spreadsheets by uploading an Excel file instead of individually ordering each item needed. It also offers one-click reordering, making it simple to order items that require frequent restocking.

Its real-time inventory status reduces back ordering and helps dealers to stock parts more efficiently.

Some features of the new system include an all-in-one search tool, activity overviews, order status and history summary, price quote histories, embedded parts catalog, direct upload of quotes and orders from the dealership's business system, and part recommendations.

NFCdirect.com replaces the former individual online catalog and parts ordering systems, NicWeb and NicSmart systems.

"E-commerce is not simply about selling online. It's about delivering a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints," says Steve Cianci, director of marketing and product management, Nissan Forklift. "NFCdirect.com allows Nissan Forklift to deliver that consistent, customer-rich shopping experience to our dealers and partners alike through relevant content, simplified ordering and specialized promotions."

"NFCDirect.com is very user friendly," says Amy Horner, parts analyst at North Coast Lift Truck. "It is a huge plus to be able to immediately see stock levels. It enables us to provide better customer service."

Nissan Forklift Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nissan Motor Company Ltd., designs, manufactures and supports a complete line of material handling equipment that delivers features resulting in greater dependability, higher productivity and lower operational costs.

Headquartered in Marengo, Illinois, Nissan Forklift has a network of more than 100 authorized dealerships with over 225 locations across North, South and Latin America, as well as additional worldwide locations.
