JD Forktrucks will be responsible for the complete range of GC Power equipment including the new Silver Leopard series of fork lift trucks. The range includes 1-16t diesel, 1-10t LPG and 1-4t electric trucks.

Speaking to ShD, John Cooke – one of the most experienced men in the forklift business – commented: “The forktruck industry is going through a change at the moment, and when the opportunity came along to work with GC Power there was no question I wanted to take it.” Mr Cooke said he intends to stock a large volume of new machines for quick delivery, and will carry a substantial quantity of spare parts.

JD Forktrucks was established in 1980 and has a vast experience in for lift trucks. It has recently built new premises, which include spacious offices, showroom, and purpose-built workshop and stores area. It also has an extensive range of trucks available for long- or short-term hire.

The new Silver Leopard range is based on German design, and is fitted with the reliable Japanese Yanmar engine. It also includes Japanese manufactured components in the transmission.
