On July 28, 2011, Linde (China) Hefei Branch Opening Ceremony was successfully held in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area (HETDA). Ms. Zhang Lu, Director of HETDA Economic Bureau, Mr. Chen Jianguo, General Manager of Gree (Hefei) Electric Appliances, Mr. CP Quek, CEO of Linde (China) Forklift Truck Corp., Mr. Chen Tao, General Manager of Linde (China) Jiangsu and Anhui Region, customer representatives and local media participated in the event.  

Mr. CP Quek, CEO of Linde (China) Forklift Truck Corp., Ltd. said in his speech:” Hefei is an important and strategic location for Linde (China) to serve the growing market needs in the China mid-west region.” Ms. Zhang Lu, Director of HETDA Economic Bureau in her speech congratulated Linde (China) for this new setup in HETDA and looking forward to work closely with Linde (China) to grow the business here.

Mr. Chen Jianguo, General Manager of Gree (Hefei) Electric Appliances said in his speech: “Gree has a long working relationship with Linde because of Linde’s reputation in product performance and customer service. We are happy to see this new setup in Hefei which will further ensure better and faster service.” 

In the ceremony, the VIPs performed the ribbon cutting ceremony and all participants were treated to a lively Linde forklift truck show. Mr. Chen Tao, General Manager of Linde (China) Jiangsu and Anhui Region, shared with all participants that Linde will continue to be the No.1 player in Auhui province among foreign brand forklift suppliers, with Linde truck population exceeding 1000 trucks, and with more than 20 employees based locally now in Hefei to serve the customer needs here.
