In order to construct a complete system of corporate culture and build a qualified team of dealerships with professional skills, Business Support Department II from Doosan Infracore (China) Co., Ltd. planed and organized the first skill contest for dealer sales of Doosan targeting at the basic knowledge of salesman and practical skills in terms of sales.
On June 15, 2011, Doosan began to unclose the preliminary contest in Wuhan from all the branch companies. This contest was an investigation towards the sales capacity of the dealers of Doosan, and also a great measurement for Doosan to establish a standardized sales system to achieve a higher degree of customer satisfaction. Taking the theme of improving skill level and practicing skills through competition to satisfy the development of Doosan with excellent skills, the dealers were given a platform to present themselves and to surpass the current situation, through which the industry and the customers could feel the hope and perspectives on the aspects of improving dealers’ sales and realizing the full-fledged development among the individual, team and enterprise. All the contesters were chosen from the competition of model salesmen in various areas.
The skill contest for dealer sales was to break the former and traditional training model and to strengthen the communication and study among Doosan and the dealers as well as among all the dealers. After the strict preliminary competition from June 15 to 26, 19 sales elites from dealer companies in the areas including Wuhan, Chengdu, Xi’an, Shenyang, Beijing and Shanghai. They outstood from the 108 contesters and gained the qualification to participate in the final contest and to compete the award of the contest.
The first round in the contest was Q & A of related knowledge. The contesters made sufficient preparation and held confidently all the knowledge in their mind. The whole contest was full of excitement, not only checking the knowledge storage of the contesters, but also investigating their responding competence and agility. Then the contest went to the lightening round, and the rapid and fluent responses gained waves of applaud from all the visitors. After this round, the differences and gaps between these contesters began to appear.
Finally in the three round of presentation, the contesters completely show their own experience of sales and their eloquence.
