I feel quite honored to attend the launching and exhibiting conference of new forklifts from Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (Shantui). Hereinafter, I want to show my sincere congratulations to Shantui on their launch of new forklifts on behalf of China Construction Machinery Association Industrial Truck Institution (CITA for short).

As we all know, the development of any industry and product can not leave the market, which is also the soil for their development. The soil of forklift industry shall be the development of logistics industry in China. We can see that this piece of soil is of high quality to an unprecedented level. In March 2009, State Council of China issued Adjustment and Development Plan of Logistics Industry, pointing out the development perspective of logistics industry from the macro direction. Recently, the State Council again put forward eight specific measures in order to push the steady and healthy development of logistics industry. Besides the suggestions and policies to practically reduce the tax burden of logistics enterprise, decrease the toll fee and improve the profitable level of logistics enterprises to solve the greatest hinders during the development of logistics enterprises, these eight measures also put forward policies for supporting the warehouse logistics to complete the land using taxation policy of land use for large commodity and equipment; enhancing the supportive force towards the land policy of logistics; scientifically formulating the development plan for logistics parks to emphasize and guarantee the land for logistics parks included in the plan; and advocating to allocate the old workshops of companies, warehouses and land in stock to support the development of logistics. The planning for future development and specific measures for reform and enhancement will be the powerful force to ensure the fast development of logistics industry in China. 

Industrial vehicles are the fundamental equipment for logistics industry, which had gained great development in the past ten years and became the No.1 manufacturing and sales market in the world since 2009. Last year, the annual sales amount of locomotive industrial vehicles broke through the historical record, reaching more than 230,000 sets. Till 2011, the industrial vehicle industry kept the momentum of growth in the first five months, getting to 133,000 sets and enjoying a year-on-year increase of 47%. The data mentioned above has also indicated that the most important opportunity for the further development of industrial vehicles has been on the edge.

A healthy market needs excellent enterprises and quality products to serve. Today, in Guangzhou, Forklift Department of Shantui launched new forklifts. Shantui had a notorious fame in the field of construction machinery industry, and was confident to enter forklift industry. Sticking to the tenet and working style of being pragmatic, effective and practical, Shantui’s forklifts was quickly integrated to the forklift market. Especially in this year, Shantui not only launched a series of new products, but also held a lot of activities, sparing no effort to be dedicated in the development of forklift business. Before long, they got the Quality License for Export Commodity, which was another sign to show the fast developing rate and the strength of Shantui in an overall way. While enjoying the performance of Lion Dance which was exciting and impressive, I want to express our hope towards Shantui, wishing the company to march further after launching the new product today. During the important development period of logistics industry, Shantui is expected to make the forklift business larger and stronger relying on its own advantages.
