Keeping this promise, we have presented the youngest member of the STILL to the global public today: The STILL cubeXX!

Place and occasion for the event was the first day of the CeMAT in Hannover, the leading trade show for our industry worldwide hosting over 1 000 exhibitors and expecting more than 70 000 professional visitors from all over the world.

The unveiling ceremony at the STILL stand on the fair was attended by the State Minister of Economy of Lower Saxony Jörg Bode, the director of the fair in Hannover and representatives of the press, radio, television and specialised international expert media.

The STILL cubeXX is a possible answer to the challenges for the intralogistics industry in 2025.

Technologic development, ever shorter resources and the demand for constant growth of efficiency, individualisation and flexible structures, urbanisation in every country around the world with ever growing commerce and the need to protect data on the internet are the megatrends which will affect our economic life.

This is why, more than a year ago a project team joined up to evaluate studies about the future, to assess technologies and to weave the findings into conceptual contexts to develop a STILL for the year 2025: The STILL cubeXX.

The first impression of the cubeXX is that of a concept car with a design not leaving space for compromise. If one looks into the ideas and solutions combined in this new truck, it becomes clear that once again we kept our STILL promise … to be one step ahead!

The cubeXX is six in one. It combines six different truck concepts in one: the traditional counter balance forklift truck which is a flexible all-rounder in the warehouse today, the tugger train, the horizontal order picker, the high lift and low lift truck and the double decker truck. Its secret of success beyond this: depending on the requirements in the warehouse, the cubeXX can be operated manually by a human driver or automatically by a computer.

Besides our customers, many representatives of the press will take a look at the CubeXX on the fair and they will report about it.
