On March 16, the staff of Wuhu Ruichuang Forklift Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. were busy assembling the forklifts that would be exported to Africa. During the six months after the 1-10 tonnage forklifts rolled off the production lines, Ruichuang had sold 520 sets of forklifts and the company had signed the order to supply 350 sets of forklifts to South Africa.

It was informed that Ruichuang planned to produce and sell 3000 sets of forklifts in the whole 2011. When the first phase of forklift project reaches the production goal, Chery Ruichuang is estimated to realize the capacity of manufacturing 30,000 sets of forklifts annually.

Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. was founded in 1997 by five of Anhui’s local state owned investment companies with an initial capitalization of RMB 3.2 billion.
