On December 3, 2010, Toyota Z Series IC Forklift Exhibition Tour came to its fifteenth spot—Beijing. Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held launch conference for the new Z series IC forklifts, which were endowed with the classic quality of Toyota forklifts lasting for more than 50 years. During the design of Z series forklifts, Toyota combined the demands of Chinese logistics industry and aimed at repaying to the support of the users in China.

The launch of the Z series forklifts specially manufactured for logistics market in China is also an indication to show the resolution of Toyota to sustainably go further on Chinese market in an all round way as well as to open a new page in the developing history of the company.

The launch conference was sponsored by Zhang Jing, the Manager of Toyota Forklift Sales (Beijing) Co., Ltd. On the conference, the General Manager of Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Ueda made a speech and firstly expressed his welcome and gratefulness towards the attending guests and all the media for their long-term support to Toyota. He said that Z series forklifts were the first batch of equipment specially manufactured by Toyota targeting at the market in one country, reflecting the emphasis and concerns of Toyota on the logistics market in China. Ueda also stated that Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. would go further to increase the marketing shares through extending the sales network, reinforcing product marketing and promotion and expanding the sales team so as to better serve the vast logistics industry in China. 

Then General Manager of Toyota Forklift Sales (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Li Xiaomin addressed on the conference, expressing his hope to enhance the communication and cooperation with the old customers while developing more new customers to make a broader way for Toyota forklifts in the field of logistics in China.

Li Difei, the Manager of Business Planning Department introduced the specifications, performance and functions of the Z series IC forklifts in details to the guests on the conference.

•Chengdu Stop

On December 10, 2010, Toyota Z Series IC Forklift Exhibition Tour arrived at the sixteenth stop—Chengdu.

Chengdu Jinli Toyota-Forklift Co., Ltd., the only distributor of Toyota forklift in Sichuan, held the launch conference for the new Z series IC forklifts. Zhang Han, the Manager of Business Department, Zhang Ying of the Business Planning Department of Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and the superiors of the local famous enterprises including KOBELCO Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Chengdu Apple of Furniture Co., Ltd. and Tongwei Group attended the conference.

First, General Manager of Chengdu Jinli Toyota-Forklift Co., Ltd. Zhang Hongwu addressed on the conference to show his gratefulness to all the attending guests and express his prospect towards the newly launched Z series IC forklifts. Then Zhang Ying of the Business Planning Department of Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. elaborated the specifications and performance of Z series forklifts through a comparison between the existing Toyota 8 series forklifts. 

Jinli appointed the operator to demonstrate the specific working performance of Z series forklifts to the customers, some of whom were so interested in the new forklift and had a driving themselves. On the banquet after the conference, Manager Liu Zhongyu who took the charge of the conference made an address to the guests and celebrating the success of the launch conference.

Chengdu is the last stop of the Z series forklift exhibition tour. During these 3 months, Toyota conducted the exhibition tour in 16 areas in China, getting more than 1200 customers to closely know Toyota products and enabling many potential customers to concern about Toyota forklifts and equipment through various channels.

It had been successively nine years that Toyota ranked to be the No. Since the company acquired Sweden forklift manufacture BT in 2001, Toyota have been ranked the world's No. 1 forklift manufacturer in terms of forklift sales for successive nine years.  As another range of new products, Z series forklifts are the first product in the world designed and manufactured especially according to the specific conditions in one country, which was a sign that Toyota regarded highly of the logistics market in China.

The core parts of Toyota Z series IC forklifts, such as the engine, transmission, control valve and hydraulic parts are all directly from Japan, which not only realize the standardized configuration of the forklift, but also ensure that the newly launched forklifts would never fall behind the well-received Toyota 8 series in terms of product quality and operation safety.

It is informed that Z series IC forklifts have been popular with continuous inquiry telephone calls from all around China. Based on Z series IC forklifts, Toyota is on the way to practically implement their promise of serving more closely to more Chinese customers.

Since the official launch onto the market on July 9th, Toyota confidently brought their new product to begin their tour in China for more forklift users. In the coming 2011, it is expected that Toyota will bring more quality products to the customers in China and all around the world.
