Effective Jan.1, 2011, Mark Mudlin joins the Normet Americas team as Sales Manager – Mining.  In this capacity, Mudlin will reside and travel from Elko, NV, central to our large customer base in the western USA, and head up the sales effort to our customers with Normet’s offering of equipment, Life Time Care parts and services, and TAM construction chemicals.

“We are delighted to have this seasoned professional join our rapidly growing team” announced Mike Rispin, V.P.-Americas for the Normet Group.  “Mark has that valuable combination of operating and engineering mining experience, coupled with a proven track record of sales and support to that same customer base.”

Mudlin is a graduate mining engineer from the South Dakota School of Mines and his  employment history includes Asamera Minerals, Barrick Goldstrike Mines and Anglogold, and he spent the last eight years with BASF as a Technical Sales Specialist in Nevada.

Rispin added: “With Rick Kraft, our mainstay in mining, taking on a global role with Normet as a Senior Project Manager, our customers can be confident with Mark joining the USA organization.”

Kraft has been a long time contributor with Normet, for many years as principal of Normet USA and now with the global company. His experience and expertise with equipment and, in particular, the sprayed concrete process are well known to North American mining operations. He will now expand his focus globally as part of the worldwide Life Time Care organization.
