The number one focus for any business is to ensure that goods are available at the right time in the right place. Distribution facilities are often output driven and as a result accidents and damage are a reluctant reality. With this in mind, Toyota Material Handling UK has launched a new programme to help to reduce the costs of accident damage in the warehouse environment.

The new programme: Pride in Performance, is designed for both warehouse supervisors and operators. The CD based resource provides tips and advice needed to improve operations, reduce damage and promote best practice.

Launched at the IMHX exhibition, all proceeds from the sale of the kits will be donated to Help for Heroes, a charity set up to look after the interests of past and present Fusiliers and to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.

The supervisor's pack contains helpful advice and hints to reduce damage costs, as well as the resources needed to promote best practice and also recognise achievement of warehouse truck operators. Other resources included within the programme include; best practice and safety awareness posters and certificates of achievement.
