On September 15th, 2010, Qingdao Lioho Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. Suzhou Branch, which was authorized by Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. as the only distributor for sales of Toyota forklifts in Jiangsu Province in January 2003, held the press conference for the launch of new Toyota forklifts in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. On the conference, Lioho Suzhou Branch also prepared trial driving of the forklift for the customers to experience the performance of the new products. This was the third stop for Toyota's new forklift exhibition tour in China after Chongqing stop and Shanghai Minhang Stop.

Nearly a hundred of guests took part in the conference to share the merriment of introducing a new series of forklifts onto the market together with Lioho Suzhou Branch, including the representatives of end users of Toyota forklift, superiors from Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., managers from Lioho Group, directors from Qingdao Lioho Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. The press conference was mainly set for the exhibition of Toyota Z series IC forklifts which were designed and manufactured specifically for Chinese market. The Administrative Manager of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), Ohnishi and the General Manager of Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Ueda gave speeches on the conference, highly praising the continuous contribution of Lioho Suzhou Branch in Jiangsu Province and showing their sincere hope for the development in the future.

Mr. Zong Xuming, the Executive Director of Lioho Group and Ohnishi, the Administrative Manager of TICO drew the eyes for the “lion” before the lion dance, and watched the lion dance show with all the guests. The guests then witnessed a rather unique uncovering ceremony for the Z series IC forklifts.

According to the instruction of Mr. Zong, Toyota equipments have been well-received and trusted by more and more customers relying on the excellent quality and in-time service as soon as entering Jiangsu market, of which the market shares have been increased gradually in recent years. As a long-term cooperative partner of Toyota, Lioho Suzhou Branch insisted in acting in a professional and responsible attitude. Through the marketing development and expansion in these years, Lioho Suzhou Branch set branches and flagship stores in other main cities in Jiangsu Province in addition to their existing sales network, so as to establish a more comprehensive sales and service network to cover the whole Jiangsu Province.

Under the forceful support of Toyota, Lioho Suzhou Branch showed their appreciation to all the customers using and preferring Toyota forklifts based on the opportunity of the new products launch conference. The trial driving activity on the spot led the whole launch conference to a climax, which offered the users a chance to experience and feel more about the new products in a more closely way, enabling the customers to know more about the products in terms of innovative design and stable performance. The exhibition of Toyota new products and the activities held on the conference drove the guests to be more enthusiastic on the forklifts.

The newly launched Z series forklifts are equipped with Toyota branded engines and core parts originally from Japan, endowing with outstanding features such as powerfulness and durability, which could better serve the logistics market in a wider range in China. The new IC forklift have not only integrated the in-depth research on the market demand and users' operation habits, but also compromised the prospects of Toyota towards the development tide in the field of material handling industry in the future. Toyota told the media that during the design process, the engineers kept such core concepts in mind as to make sure the safety, reliability, quality and maintenance free. Moreover, the new series of forklifts inherit the classic qualities belonging to Toyota forklifts which have lasted for more than half a century, representing the development principle of Toyota of pursuing for high efficient, more stable, and much safer products to meet the demands of the market while keeping the fundamental requirements on the quality, standard configuration, strong power as well as outstanding durability.

Since the company acquired Sweden forklift manufacture BT in 2001, Toyota had been ranked the world's No. 1 forklift manufacturer in terms of forklift sales for successively nine years.  As another range of new products, Z series forklifts are the first product in the world designed and manufactured especially according to the specific conditions in one country, which was a sign that Toyota regarded highly of the logistics market in China.

The core parts of Toyota Z series IC forklifts, such as the engine, transmission, control valve and hydraulic parts are all directly from Japan, which not only realize the standardized configuration of the forklift, but also ensure that the newly launched forklifts would never fall behind the well-received Toyota 8 series in terms of product quality and operation safety. 

It is informed that Z series IC forklifts have been popular with continuous inquiry telephone calls from all around China. Based on Z series IC forklifts, Toyota is on the way to practically implement their promise of serving more closely to more Chinese customers.

Since the official launch onto the market on July 9th, Toyota confidently brought their new product to begin their tour in China for more forklift users.
