On July 9th, 2010, Toyota Material Handling (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held the press conference in their Kunshan plant, introducing the newly launched Z series IC forklifts to the global forklift market. In order to enable more customers around China to closely know about Z series IC forklifts, Toyota (Shanghai) planned to hold a national tour of exhibiting the new products from September to November in China. For the first stop, Toyota (Shanghai) went to Chongqing in the southwest of China.

On 2010 China (Chongqing) Automotive Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Exhibition held in Chongqing International Expo Center on September 1st, 2010, Toyota showed the Z series IC forklifts at their stand, which drew the attentions of many visitors to enquiry about the new products, forming a unique scene at the exhibition.

“As one of the main sponsors of the exhibition, we felt so proud to take part in and rely on this opportunity to introduce our Toyota Z series IC forklifts,” said the Manager of Chongqing WinSky Technology Development Co., Ltd., which is the dealer of Toyota forklift in Chongqing, “and our attendance to the exhibition had been greatly supported by Chongqing Commerce Commission.”

At the exhibition, the visitors from worldwide showed their strong interest on Z series IC forklifts. Hundreds of customers from automotive industry and other related industries were attracted to Toyota's stand to ask for the detailed information about the new forklifts.

Since the company acquired Sweden forklift manufacture BT in 2001, Toyota have been ranked the world's No. 1 forklift manufacturer in terms of forklift sales for successive nine years.  As another range of new products, Z series forklifts are the first product in the world designed and manufactured especially according to the specific conditions in one country, which was a sign that Toyota regarded highly of the logistics market in China.

The core parts of Toyota Z series IC forklifts, such as the engine, transmission, control valve and hydraulic parts are all directly from Japan, which not only realize the standardized configuration of the forklift, but also ensure that the newly launched forklifts would never fall behind the well-received Toyota 8 series in terms of product quality and operation safety.

It is informed that Z series IC forklifts have been popular with continuous inquiry telephone calls from all around China. Based on Z series IC forklifts, Toyota is on the way to practically implement their promise of serving more closely to more Chinese customers.
