bauma China 2010 press tour ended with its last stop at its home ground- Shanghai, on 19 Nov 2010, at Okura Garden Hotel. On this date, you can already see a magnificent display of huge equipment at the outdoor exhibition area of Shanghai New Expo Centre (SNIEC). Many exhibitors have already moved in and busy preparing themselves to showcase their best at bauma China 2010. Shanghai and bauma China 2010 will again become the point of attention for industry players around the world when it opens at the beginning of winter.

Between 16 Oct to 3 Nov, bauma China 2010 press tour was brought to some key cities which had great demand for construction machinery, starting from Urumqi, and followed by Jinan, Dalian, Neimenggu, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Chongqing and Beijing. Overwhelming responses and great attention were received from these cities.

At its first stop at Urumqi, we see a lot of advertisements by construction machinery companies around the city. Leased machinery can be also seen displayed along the roads. The many Middle Eastern people at the airport, further shows the increased cooperation between China and its neighbors. We were pleased to have Mr Ding Zhiping, Rotating Chairman of Xinjiang International Chamber of Commerce at the Urumqi stop to share with us, from a user point of view, the benefits of the exhibition as a platform for manufacturers and users.

Jinan stop on 17 Oct caught the attention of the industry players in central China. Shandong, being a strong economic province, estimated to achieve an urban construction investment of 800 billion yuan between 2009 to 2010. The plans for construction of sophisticated highways connecting different parts of Shandong province, infrastructure development, urban development and new rural development laid out in its 11th Five Year plan will set the foundation for greater demand for construction machinery in central China.

In recent years, Dalian has been actively trying to attract overseas investment so as to bring about rapid development to this key city in Liaoning province. Dalian’s plan to develop its train system will expand its demand for construction machinery. bauma China 2010 press tour at Dalian seek to bring the latest news, updates and products on construction machinery to this growing city.

Although the export of rare earth continues to be a sensitive issue in Neimenggu, we can see many development of rare earth as the press tour reaches Baotou, one of the key cities of Neimenggu. The Baotou stop attracted the attention of the media and many important questions were raised at this stop. This shows the huge potential of this region in terms of urban development.

As Shenzhen survives through the world financial crisis and prepares itself for another new start, bauma China 2010 press tour at Shenzhen on 20 Oct brings to the city information of this not-to-be-missed construction machinery in Shanghai.

Construction machinery and accessories have moved to become the key industry in Fujian province. It is also taking up an important position in China and even the world market. As of to-date, loaders machine produced by Xiagong and Longgong took up 1/3 of China’s total production and 1/4 of the world’s production. China has become the biggest manufacturing base for loaders. ground construction and maintenance machinery, with Terex NFLG (Quanzhou) Mobile Processing Equipment Co., Ltd being the key manufacturer, is now China’s third biggest manufacturer and its bitumen mixed equipment production takes up half of China’s total production. The technology behind Linde Xiamen Forklift – hydrodynamic transmissions is ranked world’s first class. bauma China 2010 press tour Fuzhou stop on 1 Nov shares with the local media and companies on what to expect at this upcoming bauma China 2010.

Located in the southwest part of China, Chongqing serves as the radiating point to the southwest market. As there are less construction machinery manufacturers in this region, and with greater emphasis in the past two years on infrastructure development, many other construction machinery manufacturers compete for a pie in this market. The Chongqing stop on 2 Nov draw the attention of southwest market towards bauma China 2010.
