CeMAT Asia, an international fair for material handling and logistics, is set to kick off at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre October 25.
Recognised as one of the most important international trading platforms in the region, the fair will showcase approximately 400 exhibitors and is expected to draw an estimated 60,000 visitors from around the world. These figures reflect the continuing recovery of the materials handling industry, according to organisers.
This year, the fair will feature forklifts and forklift accessories, pallet rack and cranes, transportation equipment, auto-ID and automated guided vehicle (AGV) themed display areas.
Automation exhibitors include Toshiba Tec, Synnex, DT Research and Atop, who will showcase their radio frequency identification (RFID) and intelligent card technologies at the event.
