OXNARD — Power Machinery Center in Oxnard is one of only nine forklift dealers across the nation to earn the 2009 Dealer of Excellence Award from the Nissan Forklift Corp.

Dealers are evaluated in several categories, including sales, market penetration, professionalism, service and overall performance.

Founded by Bob Power in 1950 in Oxnard as Power Tractor Co., it now has a 33,000-square-foot location in Oxnard, a branch in Bakersfield and more than 60 employees. Rick Power is president of the company.
