PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 20, 2010 – When Deva Hawarden Paperboard has an unexpected short-term requirement for a specialist forklift truck and paper-roll clamp attachment, it knows that it can rely on Linde Material Handling to find exactly the truck it needs, says John Gibson at the company’s Kirkbride site.

Deva Hawarden Paperboard is part of the Boardlink Group which supplies paperboard products and laminating film to the printing and carton making industries as well as paperboard plates, trays and other products for consumer food applications.

“We have five Linde trucks on long-term lease, two 7-tonners, a 1.6, a 3 tonner and a 2.5,” explains John. “They are exactly what we need, and the rental ones are to the same high standard. Very reliable and offer excellent service. In a nutshell, the service we receive from Linde, including field engineers, has been really good.”

The short-term hire trucks are needed when Deva Hawarden has a surge in the amount of paperboard going through the warehouse. ”It is a specialist piece of equipment to have the  7 tonners [H70D]with the paper-roll clamp so it is not very easy to get, but Linde have  never let us down, even when we cannot give them very much notice,” says John.
