On June 24, 2010, Linde (China) Jointly Organized the China Forklift Rally with Global Supply Chain Council in Shanghai GLP Park Linggang. The event is very different from all the forklift skill competition held before, which is a special test driving for the logistics managers. All the participants were very interested in the experience and they drove different types of Linde forklift trucks including Linde Electric, Diesel and Reach trucks.

Firstly, all of the participants were required to complete the quiz on the safe forklift operation. Then they practise to operate the forklift truck and had to detour some road-blocks with coaches. After the test driving, they aslo joined an intensive skill competition finally. Many participants expressed that,”It’s a fascinating experience, Linde forklift truck is very easy and flexible to operate. We can better understand the modern operation of logistics warehouse through know more about forklift truck’s performance. We hope that Linde will organize more events like this in the future.”

The aim of the rally is to raise awareness around warehouse safety while promoting productivity and excellence in logistics operations in China.
