Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) invited Greek supervisors working at HHI for 2010 World Cup Game, South Korea vs. Greece on June 12.

In front of Ulsan Hyundai football club’s Dong-gu Clubhouse, more than 100 of HHI employees and Greek supervisors jointly cheered their national football teams.

For this event, HHI set up a 200-inch large screen TV, BBQ buffet and invited group sound performance.

A Greek supervisor at the event said that he was so excited to watch the game with HHI colleagues and he hoped Greece and South Korea both make it to the round of 16.

Greece maintains close ties with Hyundai Heavy Industries since it ordered two 260,000DWT VLCCs in 1972 which were the first two vessels for HHI.

Even though South Korea won 2-0, World Cup fever seems to continue at HHI where more than 360 expatriate from 20 countries out of 32 World Cup qualifiers cheer for their teams.
