On May 3rd, 2010, seven sets of Toyota 5FD50 series, 5 ton explosion proof forklifts departed Shanghai Port, destined for North Africa. These Toyota ex-proof forklifts were modified by of global ex-protection leader Pyroban (Suzhou) Safety Systems Co., Ltd. and equipped with explosion proofing technology before being exported to Libya. 

In October, 2009, Pyroban modified and exported several ex-proof forklifts to South Africa, and this is the second time Pyroban has exported modified forklifts to African countries. 　

Pyroban enjoyed a close cooperative partnership with Toyota Group, which was also the only official and authorized corporation of Toyota in the world. Faced with very specific safety requests from Brega Oil Company in Libya, Pyroban cooperated with Libyan GASOS Corp. to conduct explosion proof modifications on seven Toyota 5 ton forklifts at the Pyroban (Suzhou) plant. The whole process was in accordance with European ATEX standards. 　　

A group of experienced workers specialized in electrics and machinery, worked under the leadership of the Pyroban appointed engineering team to finish the modification to the seven Toyota forklifts in no more than two months. All passed the temperature test and performance test the first time. These forklifts were suitable for use in various environments, including safe operation in explosive and hazardous areas full of flammable materials, even in the high temperature of 47 degrees Centigrade. On delivery, the forklifts maintained the features of former large tonnage forklifts such as the appearance, functions and high-temperature resistance. What’s more, the forklifts were also equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and ergonomic operation conditions.
