On April 23, 2010, all the employees in Linde Xiamen gathered together to celebrate the 50,000th Assembled Tuck. Mr. Otmar Hauck, COO of KION Group, Mr. CP Quek, CEO of Linde (China) and customer representative participated in this event.

In the ceremony, Mr. CP Quek, CEO of Linde (China) said in his speech:” Reviewing the history, it took Linde (China) 12 years to have 25,000 assembled trucks in 2006, and today Linde (China) took only 4 years to celebrate the 50,000th truck. We currently have a qualified R & D team and Linde R&D Center in Xiamen has recently awarded as the “City Level R&D Center”. We will continue to deliver “customer-oriented” soluction to our customers.”

Mr. Otmar Hauck, COO of KION Group extended his sincere congratulations to Linde (China) team and said that Linde (China) has become a core segment in the Group. KION Group attaches great importance to the Chinese market, and will continue to invest in Linde Xiamen to allow the plant to become more competitive and flexible to serve the market needs.

Mr.Ye Shu, Purchasing GM of Fuyao Group, the biggest auto glass manufacturer in China, made a speech as the customer representative. He said:” We’re impressed with Linde (China)’s innovative products, optimized solutions, professional logistics consultation and comprehensive services. We have always trusted Linde and this is proven with the 13 years of partnership between Fuyao and Linde.”

The most exciting moment of the ceremony is the appearance of the 50,000th assembled truck. Mr. Otmar Hauck drove the star truck towards the audience, while Mr. CP Quek kicked-off event with fireworks. After that, Mr. CP Quek handed the key of the 50000th truck to Mr. Ye Shu, purchasing GM of Fuyao Group.
