Hamburg, 19 April 2010 – The CiTi One from STILL is an innovative truck to transport goods weighing up to 500 kg easily.

Its name “CiTi One” stands for its main field of application: deliveries to companies located in inner cities and delivery zones with public traffic. Its silent operation is not only comfortable for the operator but also pleasant for residents living nearby retail outlets.

The truck facilitates unloading of lorries parked at road sides or in pedestrian areas of the cities as well as on markets and fairs. And it literally takes goods to higher levels, because it can easily climb over obstacles such as rough pavement, potholes or lowered curb stones.
It is also very well suited for all internal transports on bumpy floors or to cover longer distances.

User-friendliness for everyone
Where other hand pallet trucks need a lot of force by the operator, the battery powered CiTi One simply moves on: with load at speeds up to 4.5 km/h and without load at speeds up to 6 km/h.

The user-friendly shape of the tiller is equally well to use for left and right handed operators. A joystick control unit (belly switch) for lifting, lowering and driving is centrally placed to guarantee the safety of the operator. A driving licence is not required.

On ramps the truck handles very safely, because the stop function prevents the truck from rolling back on ramps (ramp stop).

The CiTi one is extraordinarily compact and has an L2 dimension of less than 410 mm. This makes it extremely agile and lets it slip into any delivery lorry. The forks are 1150 mm long and the outer width of the fork is 550 mm.
The profiled solid rubber drive wheel has a diameter of 310 mm and is 85 mm wide. Depending on the load the CiTi One can pass over thresholds and transitions up to 70 mm high with this wheel.

Available in the rain and in the cold
The CITI One can be operated at temperatures between -15 to +50 degrees Celsius.

The hub drive in the wheel (0.3 kW) is capsulated and maintenance-free to propel the CiTi One which weighs only about 100 kg. With this drive the truck can move up slopes which are up to 8 percent steep – with and without load.
Depending on the application there are three different battery sizes available to provide effective operation and permanent availability. The strongest battery (15 Ah) provides the power for more than two hours net driving time.
